Many of you may or may not know this, but former HRM and Halifax city councillor, Gerry Blumenthal is going to be getting back into local politics.

He is most likely going to run for a council seat in his home district in the North End.

But Gerry has hinted at a shot at the mayor's chair, but it's unlikely.

Can Gerry take the North End back from Patrick Murphy - or will Gerry give Kelly a run for the money??

Quite possibly. I think Gerry fully expects to be sitting in Halifax City Hall next year.
