Why is the mayor silent?

He didn't have any problem talking about transit workers during the the last election campaign:

"The municipality is open to negotiations," said Mayor Peter Kelly, but Peter Kelly's pre-election promise (in accord with corporate contributors) to the bus drivers, specifically, guaranteed an equitable, competitive wage, fair treatment, and support. Where did the support go, and the promise? Mayor Peter Kelly did not respond...

HRM is the last place in Canada to still double tax business despite a clearly worded promise from Mayor Petey that he would eliminate the business occupancy tax during the last election!

Our Mayor promised years ago that there would no longer be 'closed door meetings' but full public disclosure. I do not know about you, but I do not appreciate a lie. I suppose Peter can say and promise anything to everyone to get in office, but once elected... It is a 'screw them' kind of attitude. All right then, sure...
WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS CONSTANT BULLSHIT! We got to take action, organize... or just whimper away, as usual?
