Cat bylaw , Wayward shopping carts now he wants us to sign our garbage in clear bags and keep old furniture and appliances in our home not at the land fill . This guy going to make HRM a dump . District 9 needs to dump him

Jim Smith has done nothing to further the HRM business environment, public transportation or fighting crime.

He did fight to pass the Cat by-law before knowing the cost or how to implement it. Last month he learned how much it would cost, 3.3 milion dollars, and that wouldn't even be for implementing it fully.

Despite the large pricetag and public opposition to it he is still trying to push is through Halifax council !

He also recently tried to make the 'Seizure and Impounding of Animals' section of the by-law become effective in April 2008 even though there's no budget, no facility, no organization to implement it and the SPCA does not support it.

This March 18, 2008 Jim Smith and David Hendsbee and their followers Krista Snow, Mary Wile and Linda Moosher will again try to get the funding for their unpopular anti pet by-law. Mr smith hasn't got a clue what his residents want, but he does have HIS agenda! His recent support of violating the MPS and support of a tower in the crossing shows his lack of understanding, and his contempt of voters. Next election we will show this chump the same contempt!
